
Day 1 : Arrival in Tashkent Tashkent
Pick up from airport and be transferred to hotel in Tashkent for overnight.
Day 2: Beldersay and Chimgan mountain trip
Day trip to Chimgan mountains and Beldersay mountain for hiking.
At 11 AM start driving to mountains near Tashkent 80 km. On Arrival, a flat descent will lead us to the small grove, located on the bank of Beldersay, where we will have a picnic lunch.
Go down to Mramornaya river at the height of 1500m, walk up the stream to the Urta Kumbel Pass. Walking around 1 hr we will reach a small birch grove, pictorially located on the bank of the mountain river.
Short rest and we start a 45 minutes long ascent to Urta-Kumbel Pass, 1820 m above sea level. Climbing up to the hill usually takes half an hour and you will find yourself in the saddle of the pass. Beldersay River, Chet-Kumbel Pass.
The panoramic view from the pass allows us to see the Valley of Nurekata River and the top of Big Chimgan 3309 m.
At 17:00 go down to the Beldesay cable car station and the road where our minibus will be waiting for us. Return to Tashkent.
Day 3: Tashkent to Bukhara
At 6:30 pick up from hotel and take train ride to Bukhara at 0728, at 1120 Arrival in Bukhara, if the hotel room is available for early check you can check in or proceed for city tour in Bukhara . Visit Summer palace Sitorai Mohi Hossa and Bahuddin Naqshbandiy necropolis, the holy shrine of uzbek muslims and one of the sufiy leaders in Islam.
Optional: Evening you can enjoy Folk Music and dance show at old Madrasah, pls request in advance if you like to book a seat.
Day 4: Bukhara day tour
Bukhara – Today’s full day city tour, all on foot through this ancient, holy city, includes Chashmai Ayub mausoleum, Ismail Samani mausoleum, Bolo Hauz mosque and Ark Fortress. You will see palaces, trade domes, mosques, madrasas, hanaka, Turkish hammam, the bazaar and many souvenir shops.
After lunch at a local restaurants or café, you visit Kalyan minaret, Ulughbek and Abdulazizkhan madrasa, Nadir Divan Begi Madrasa and Khanaka, Magaki Attari mosque, Chor Minor madrasa.
You can finish city tour with an optional Hammam bath. Please request in advance if you want to book it. Overnight.
Day 5: Bukhara to Nurata, mountain village
After breakfast, transfer to Nurata region, en route you will see the holy mosque of Nurata, and Alexander the great fortress ruins. After will drive ot Hayat village. Guest house Shiringul Opa is located in green orchads in a small mountain village Hayat, in the valley of Hayatsay in Nurata mountain range. This is one of the interesting places in Uzbekstan, remotely located from big cities and densely populated village areas. Here travelers can have a rare chance to explore the nature and get acquainted with local traditional way of life in the village.
The Guest house is located 360 km from Bukhara and 220 km from Samarkand and 320 km from Tashkent. This is a nice place to stop over if you want to make further trip to other historical cities in Uzbekistan, from here you can make a trip to Aydarkul lake and Fazilman lake also.
You can make adventure hiking, walk and horse riding in the mountains and to other villages, to visit ruins of ancient settlements, rock paintings and traditional dwelling. Those who are interested in nature can discover the richness of local flora and fauna. Birdwatchers can find and take photo of different varieties of birds in close. Overnight in local CBT home.
Day 6: Nurata to Samarkand 260 km
Morning leisure at the lake , swimming, riding a camel, fishing and afternoon drive to Samarkand. Overnight in Samarkand
Day 7: Samarkand full day tour
Today you visit Samarkand: Gur Emir Mausolem, the tomb of Temur and his sons and grandchildren and teacher, Registan square with Sherdar Madrasah, Tillakori Mosque, and Madarsah of Ulughbek. Bibi Hanum mosque , named after favorite wife of Temur, Siab Bazar, The observatory of Ulugbek and ancient site Afrosiab. Afrosiab was the capital of Sogdian empire until 13th century but it was fully destroyed by Chegizkhan troops and the city was rebuilt in the present location by Temur’s dynasty in 14th -15th centuries and became the capital of his great empire in 1379.
Day 8: Samarkand to Shahrisabz mountain pass
Samarkand to Shahrisabz for 08:30: Departure from Samarkand
After breakfast depart to Aman Kutan village which located around 50 km away. Aman-Kutan Cave is located on the northern slope of Zeravshan mountains, among the ancient lime stones, south of Samarkand. Its length is 80 m. It consists of several halls, which cover the bottom of the lake flow underground. In the cave there were beautiful sinter formations – stalactites and stalagmites.
10:20-13:00 Aman Kutan – Lion’s Cave
Start hiking tour. Visit the pine grove then proceed to walnut grove.
In this cave the archaeologist D.N. Lion in 1947 found a fragment of femur fossil man. In the investigated layer were also found stone tools.
They found the remains of the bones that have the same composition and the ancient character, as in the grotto Teshik Tash. This finding treat late Acheulian culture and is the oldest fossil evidence of the existence of man on the territory of Uzbekistan
14:00-18:00 Aman Kutan village
Break for lunch. Picnic in the open air right around the cave. After lunch continue with the tour to the other side of the mountain making a round trip until the village. The first tree planting here were produced in 1887 N.I.Korolkovym to prevent salt flows. It was the first experience planting the trees in the mountains in Central Asia. Overnight in CBT home in the village
Day 9: Shahrisabz-Samarkand train to Tashkent
08:30-14:00 Aman-Kutan – Shahrisabz – Samarkand
After breakfast depart to Shahrisabz. The visit of sightseeing’s of the city:
After sightseeing Shakhrisabz drive to Samarkand and at 1700 take train to Tashkent, arrival at 1910. Transfer to hotel.
Day 10:Tashkent full day sightseeing
Visit the capital city of Uzbekistan. It was the center of cross road of the great silk road connecting noethen and southern roads in central asis and became the important place for trade, education and cultural exchange.
Now it is the biggest city in Central Asia with 3 mil population and offer to visitors its old town with Hasti Imam complex with Old Koran of 7th century, Chorsu bazar, museum of applied Arts, History museum and metro of Tashkent which has beautiful decorations and considered as excellent example of Soviet architecture and design.
Evening you can enjoy Ballet or Opera show in Alisher Navoi Opera house. Overnight.
Day 11 : Departure
Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to airport, end of services.
