Cultural Heritage and Ferghana Silk Road tour 12 days .

 

Day 1     Arrival in Tashkent in the morning,

pick up at airport and transfer to hotel. City tour in Tashkent. Visit: Hasti Imam complex with Barakhan Madrasah, Osman Koran of 7 the century, Chorsu Bazar, Applied Arts museum, Independence square and Navoi theatre square.

Day 2     Tashkent-Nukus

Transfer to airport and upon arrival in Nukus visit Savitskiy museum. It is one of the 2 Avan-Garde museum in the world which displays the art of soviet era, national costumes of Karakalpak people, their traditions. After the museum we will head to Ayazkala Yurt camp and stop at Chilpik, the hill of silence. It is a Zoroastrian heritage site dating back to 1-4 centuries AD. Later we will stop at Topraqkala and our accommodation will be in Ayazkala Yurt. Where you can experience Nomads’ life, and visit ruins of the castle dating back to 1-5 AD.

Day 3 and Day 4     Ayazkala-Khiva 120 km

After breakfast drive to Khiva , Khiva, Full Day city tour inside Ichan Kala fortress Khiva is a museum in open air with many mosques, madrasah, caravansaray, harem, minarets, workshops and museums. You will visit famous Kalta minor a short minaret which means left unfinished when the ruler died but it supposed to be highest minaret in Uzbekistan. Tash havli palace, Juma mosque with 218 wooden pillars of different ages, Islam hodja mosque and Minaret, Kuhna Ark, the palace of Khiva Khanate. Overnight

Day 5    Khiva-to Bukhara

Drive to Bukhara via Kyzylkum desert. Arrival in Bukhara, if the hotel room is available for early check you can check in or proceed for city tour in Bukhara . Visit Summer palace Sitorai Mohi Hossa and Bahuddin Naqshbandiy necropolis, the holy shrine of uzbek muslims and one of the sufiy leaders in Islam. Overnight.

Day 6    Bukhara- Today’s full day city tour, all on foot through this ancient, holy city,

includes Chashmai Ayub mausoleum, Ismail Samani mausoleum, Bolo Hauz mosque and Ark Fortress. You will see palaces, trade domes, mosques, madrasas, hanaka, Turkish hammam, the bazaar and many souvenir shops. After lunch at a local restaurants or café. you visit Kalyan minaret, Ulughbek and Abdulazizkhan madrasa, Nadir Divan Begi Madrasa and Khanaka, Magaki Attari mosque, Chor Minor madrasa. You can finish city tour with an optional folk show in Nadir Divan Begi madrasa at 1800. Overnight.

Day 7    Bukhara full day

Today we will visit outside of Bukhara, summer Palace Mohi Hosa, the palace of last Emir of Bukhara and bahauddin Naqshbandiy necropolis and Gijduvan ceramic factory. Where you can have masterclass of ceramic or embroidery masterclass. Return to Bukhara, overnight.

Day 8    Bukhara-Shahrisabz-Samarkand

Today we will visit outside of Bukhara, summer Palace Mohi Hosa, the palace of last Emir of Bukhara and bahauddin Naqshbandiy necropolis and Gijduvan ceramic factory. Where you can have masterclass of ceramic or embroidery masterclass. Return to Bukhara, overnight.

Day 9    Samarkand

Today you visit Samarkand: Gur Emir Mausolem, the tomb of Temur and his sons and grandchildren and teacher, Registan square with Sherdar Madrasah, Tillakori Mosque, and Madarsah of Ulughbek. Bibi Hanum mosque , named after favorite wife of Temur, Siab Bazar, The observatoryof Ulugbek and ancient site Afrosiab. Evening tale train to Tashkent at 1800-2020. Overnight in Tashkent.

Day 10    Tashkent to Ferghana

Transfer to Ferghan valley via Kokand. Short city tour in Kokand and Khans palace, juma mosque and stop in Rushtan at Cermic master’s workshop and house. Evening arrival in Ferghana city and overnight.

Day 11    Ferghana-Margilan-Tashkent

After breakfast we will visit Margilan silk factory and mosque in Margilan where you can see local crafts people with their work. Afternoon we will drive back to Tashkent. Overnight.

Day 12    Departure

Transfer to airport for return flight home. End of Services.
